Bearcat Football Mini Camps 2026

(All camps start at 7:00pm at Kittson Central)

The Mini camps are open to all players 7-12 in the Kittson County Central Bearcat Football Program.  The more we have in attendance the more we can accomplish.

*The MSHSL has limited the amount of contact that coaches can have with football players during the summer waiver period.  Because of this we need to have dedicated attendance to all of our camps.  Please do your best to make it to every one of them even if the main focus on that day is not your position.  Participation will help you and the team!

JUNE

Tuesday 2nd- QB’s/Select Receivers

Wednesday 3th- Everyone- (Introducing routes, Lineman/Backs together Footwork-fundamentals)

Wednesday 10th- Everyone- (KICKING + Team Drills, fundamentals, games)

Wednesday 17th- Everyone- (QB’s/Receivers introducing routes-7on7 PRACTICE)

Wednesday 24th- Everyone- (QB’s/Receivers introducing routes-7on7 PRACTICE)

Sunday 28th- *GRAND FORKS 7 on 7 Tournament- NOON-9pm

JULY

Wednesday 1st- Everyone (KICKING + Team Drills, fundamentals, Base plays, Games)

July 4th -July 10th- No coach contact with players  - (MSHSL Blackout Dates)

Wednesday 15th - Everyone (Team Drills, fundamentals, Base plays, Games)

Wednesday 22th - Everyone (Team Drills, fundamentals, Base plays, Games)

Wednesday 29th - Team Camp (9th-12th) Intro Practice Plan/Fundamentals/Etc.

*We want/need all players planning on playing to be here this day*

* Captains Practice- Can begin on Aug. 10th *       * Regulal Practice starts on August 17th * No zero week this year! 

Golf practice will begin on Tuesday, June 9th at the Lancaster Riverside Golf Course. 

Practice will be held each Tuesday from 1:30-3:30pm. There is no charge for the lessons. 

Students ages 7-17 may attend and must have their own clubs to participate. 

Trent Jerome will be the golf instructor again this summer. 

2026-27 GBB Player and Parents:

The summer off season is just around the corner. The following information outlines our summer schedule for next year’s 7th thru 12th grade gbb players. Please get these dates set aside in your summer plans.

Skill development practices are scheduled for Thursday June 11th, June 18th, and June 25th from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Kittson Central school in Hallock. The June 11th start time may get pushed back a few minutes if the 10U/12U volleyball tournament isn’t wrapped up by that time.

These skill development sessions are intended for all 7th-12th grade players. We have three team events scheduled in July for players in grades 9-12. All three have morning start times and will be completed by early in the afternoon. July 1st in Roseau, July 15th at Sacred Heart, and July 16th in Roseau. Each event will have three games/scrimmages per team. The rosters for these July events will include all players who dressed JV at any point last season. 

We look forward to a productive and fun summer season.

KCC GBB Staff

A new Boys’ Basketball Camp will be coming this summer too - more information to come! 

We will offer one day of Summer Day Camp for children completing grades K-6 on Friday, June 12.  

The cost is $30 per child.  A trip to TRF for mini-golf and bowling is planned. 

Swimming Lessons will be offered for children completing K- 6th grade. 

(Younger children may attend if accompanied by an old sibling or adult.)

They are scheduled for July 20th - 24th, in the morning.  

We will email out lesson times as soon as we know them.  Transportation will be provided from Lancaster School.    

Mrs. Sandie Nelson will again offer Art Camp for K-6. 

Dates are July 20, 21 and 23 

(Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), from 1:00-3:00 pm. 

Cost: $30 per child
